Taikan Company Inc.’s (Taikan) Code of Conduct represents our business philosophies and values, and sets forth the expectation of legal and ethical behavior of our associates. The purpose of these policies is to ensure that all associates of Taikan and the organizations we work with know what our company expects, and will accept no less than the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
Child Labor
Taikan does not employ nor provide any kind of support to the employment of anyone under the age of 18. We are against all forms of exploitation of children and expect our partners and associates to uphold similar standards.
Client Information
Taikan associates must protect each client’s past and current information. We will respect the intellectual property rights of our clients and other companies, and we will not use proprietary information or methodologies without permission. Gifts or bribery received in exchange for this information is not tolerated.
Customer Business
Taikan products and services must always be publicized in a professional and truthful manner to customers. Selling any product or service other than those contracted is strictly prohibited. At all times, associates must maintain the standard of "accuracy, truth, and good taste." Associates must not intentionally give false information about a product, service, business or client.
Disciplinary Action
If disciplinary actions are to be enforced on personnel, Taikan shall not engage in, nor allow for the use of corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion and verbal abuse.

Forced Labor
Taikan forbids all work or service which is not voluntary, obtained under the menace of any penalty or demanded as a means of repayment of a debt; moreover, no personnel is requested to pay a fee upon commencing employment with the company. The request of documents aimed at ascertaining the associate’s identity complies with law provisions.
Health and Safety
Taikan assures full compliance with law provisions concerning health and safety in the workplace, aimed at preventing possible accidents and injury to health arising out of, or associated with, working activities. Taikan, in compliance with laws in force, shall appoint special representatives responsible for health and safety and for the implementation of any measure needed to ensure them. Taikan ensures the observance of requirements concerning cleanliness and safety provided by laws in force.
Representation
Taikan’s business must always be conducted in a manner that gives the broadband industry a positive reputation. Staff members representing the business or client will be chosen bearing in mind experience, knowledge, and expertise. At all work-related events, both private and open to the public, representation must be made in the utmost professional manner.
Working Hours
Taikan complies with the laws in force and with the agreements negotiated with the workers’ organizations on the subject of working hours, including breaks and overtime.
